Hiya, I'm Tanya, I consider myself to be bubbly, friendly, happy and positive. The opportunity to be able to help and support people everyday brings me so much joy, and I find it especially rewarding to be able to help my clients to maintain their independence in their own homes. I always go the extra mile and love to help in anyway I can. With a passion for supporting individuals, I have dedicated my career to providing quality care for those in need. As a female carer, I have experience in a range of care types including hourly and overnight care.
Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience in caring for individuals with various conditions, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression. I am also skilled in providing care for bedbound individuals.
I am proud to say that my skills extend beyond basic personal care tasks. I am proficient in assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, and companionship. Additionally, I have a genuine interest in mental stimulation and engagement with my clients. I enjoy playing card games, working on puzzles, and even cooking and baking together.
Outside of work, I am an active person who loves walking and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy participating in DIY projects that allow me to continually learn and grow. As a pet lover, I am comfortable caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds.
My caring nature, friendliness, and helpfulness are attributes that I bring to my work. I believe that everyone deserves to lead an independent and fulfilling life, and I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives.
